...Another Morning of Life...
๏ Along the bending road through forested hills,
our destination lies between us, waiting.
Deep inside, every thought concealed,
pulled and torn in quiet strain.
๏ City upon city drowns the night,
familiar noise erodes our dreams.
The heart of the city, worn and bare,
the human heart also bound by chains.
๏ Along that winding road,
human hearts drift and ache.
What we see, what we hear,
touches the weary heart midway.
๏ There, a butterfly bride flutters,
beating her wings beyond all walls.
Across worlds with fragile grace,
she gives her life to keep flying on.
๏ There, trees small and tall
stand against streams and stone.
The forest speaks with every breath,
and the world listens to its sound.
๏ Another morning of life,
we wake still clinging to our dreams.
Between the world’s twisting turns of night and day,
between us, it is the same.
Between the world’s twisting turns of night and day,
between us, the same world, the same hearts.
